Four Soldiers Killed by Suicide Bomber in Damaturu.

The suicide bomber who earlier attacked soldiers of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Damaturu, Yobe State killed at least four soldiers in the attack. A source in Damaturu said.

The suicide bomber also died in the bombing, according to the Yobe State Police Command. A senior police officer had earlier confirmed the occurrence of the suicide attack but declined to disclose the number of the soldiers killed in the attack.

The source said, “The soldiers that were killed were four and several others were seriously injured. The suicide bomber also died in the attack, he came riding on a tricycle heavily rigged with bombs and rammed into the soldiers in our area Shagari Low Cost, along the road to Gashua here in Damaturu.”
