The University of Nigeria (UNN) Nsukka has announced the release of its 2012/2013 admission list. The registrar of the institution, Mr A.I Okonta disclosed that prospective students who wrote UTME and chose the school as their first and second choice should check UNN website for their names. The registration process was also stated by the university. Students who gained admission to study at the premier institution are expected to pay the sum of twenty five thousand naira (N25,000) as acceptance fee through First Bank and Diamond Bank.

The Channel O Music Video Awards will be taking place on November 19, 2012 and organisers have announced this year’s nominees. 13 Nigerian artistes received nods, including pop singers 2face, D’banj, P-Square, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Davido, Mo’Cheddah, Brymo, and Orezi. Spanish national coach Vicente del Bosque says he hopes to give forward David Villa an international return in Friday evening's friendly against Saudi Arabia in Pontevedra.
